The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has officially commenced the initial registration period for fiscal year 2025 H-1B cap petitions. Opened from noon Eastern on March 6, 2024, to noon Eastern on March 22, 2024, prospective petitioners and legal representatives are required to utilize a USCIS online account for electronic beneficiary registration and payment of associated fees. Online account users can also take advantage of enhanced organizational features to collaborate on registrations and petitions.
Come April 1, USCIS will start accepting the online filing of Form I-129, Petition for a Nonimmigrant Worker, along with any associated Form I-907, Request for Premium Processing Service, from petitioners whose registrations have been selected. USCIS will provide notifications regarding the availability of online filing for non-cap H-1B petitions.
