The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has officially implemented the updated premium processing fees, as announced earlier. The adjustment, based on inflation from June 2021 to June 2023, impacts filing fees for Form I-907, Request for Premium Processing. The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has increased certain premium processing fees, with changes ranging from $1,500 to $2,805. Any Form I-907 received with the incorrect fee after February 26, 2024, will be rejected, and the fee will be returned. The revenue generated from this fee increase will fund premium processing services, enhance adjudication processes, address processing backlogs, and support USCIS adjudication and naturalization services. Applicants are advised to check USCIS announcements for eligibility before requesting premium processing for a specific benefit.
