As of February 28, 2024, myUSCIS launched organizational accounts to facilitate collaboration among individuals and legal representatives within an organization for H-1B registrations and petitions. A new account is required for the upcoming H-1B Electronic Registration Process starting in March 2024.
Efforts are underway to resolve any technical issues encountered by legal representatives during the migration of accounts since February 14, 2024. Affected users are advised to log in again to check for resolution. Further information and resources can be found on the Organizational Accounts Frequently Asked Questions page.
The registration period for the FY 2025 H-1B cap will run from noon Eastern on March 6, 2024, through noon Eastern on March 22, 2024. Prospective petitioners must use a USCIS online account to electronically register each beneficiary for the selection process during this period and pay the associated registration fee.
Beginning with the FY 2025 registration, USCIS mandates registrants to provide valid passport or travel document information for each beneficiary. This document should be the one intended for use when entering the United States if issued an H-1B visa.
Online filing for Form I-129 and associated Form I-907 for non-cap H-1B petitions will be launched in March. On April 1, USCIS will start accepting online filing for H-1B cap petitions and associated Forms I-907 for selected registrations.
To assist organizations and legal representatives, USCIS initiated Tech Talks sessions in February 2024, offering guidance on organizational accounts and online filing of Form I-129 for H-1B petitions. Attendees are encouraged to participate in these sessions, with details available on the Upcoming National Engagements page.
