Our team was delighted to be part of the conference and had the opportunity to interact with prestigious law firms, immigration attorneys, paralegals, and industry experts to present our product and get valuable feedback. From networking to knowledge sharing, AILA 2023 has left an indelible impression on us. In this article, we share our reflections on our experience at AILA 2023.

The American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) held its annual conference in Orlando, FL, this year, bringing together legal professionals from around the United States to share ideas and insights on the current state of immigration law. The conference ran from June 21st-24th and featured various presentations, discussions, and networking opportunities.

The conference was an ideal opportunity for Imagility to connect with industry leaders, legal experts, and key decision-makers, and we took full advantage of the event to share our expertise and demonstrate the power and potential of our innovative immigration software platform.

From showcasing the salient features of our software, like petition building and petition analysis, to demonstrate the benefits of streamlined document management, customized workflows, and the I-9 compliance module, Imagility made a lasting impression on attendees.

Throughout the event, we also had the opportunity to meet and connect with immigration professionals across the industry, from attorneys and paralegals to HR representatives and corporate executives. We were delighted to hear their feedback and insights on how our software solutions can be further improved to meet their needs and streamline their immigration workflows.

Raffle Organized

One of the highlights of our experience was the raffle we organized, which drew a lot of attention and created a buzz around our booth (812 & 814). Attendees were thrilled at the opportunity to win a trip for two to Italy and had enthusiastic participation from attendees trying their luck. It was great to see the excitement on people’s faces as we announced the winners and congratulated them on their prizes.

But more than just a fun marketing opportunity, the raffle allowed us to connect with our customers and understand their needs and pain points. We had some truly inspiring conversations that will help us fine-tune our immigration product and align it to user needs.

In addition to the raffle, we were thrilled to participate in some amazing sessions that explored new frontiers in immigration law and policy. Some of the most exciting sessions covered topics like marriage-based adjustment of status, common waivers in family-based cases, Remote and Hybrid Workforce, Managing Burnout in a PostCOVID World, Practice Automation, Form I-9 Notices of Inspection, etc.  We were happy to hear from industry veterans and share our knowledge with them as well, enriching it in the process.

One of the most exciting insights we took from the conference was the importance of leveraging technology to help law firms and immigration attorneys to streamline and automate immigration practice. As an immigration software company, this is something that we are deeply passionate about, so it was fantastic to see so many industry leaders talking about leveraging practice automation tools.
