USCIS has completed the second-round selection process for the FY 2025 H-1B regular cap and notified prospective petitioners of selected registrations. If you have received the selection notice, you, as petitioners, need to file complete H-1B visa petitions for the selected beneficiaries only.

Moreover, you must complete the H-1B cap-subject petition correctly at the specified location or online at my.uscis.gov within the filing period stated on the selection notice, which will be at least 90 days. You must include a copy of the selection notice with the FY 2025 H-1B cap-subject petition. You can also take the help of our immigration software to swiftly create winning H1B petitions.

Since registration selection only pertains to eligibility to file an H-1B cap-subject petition, your H1B visa still needs to be approved. Petitioners filing H-1B cap-subject petitions must still establish eligibility for petition approval based on existing statutory and regulatory requirements.

USCIS published a final rule on Jan. 31, 2024, that adjusted the fees required for most immigration applications and petitions. The new fees are effective as of April 1, 2024. Petitions must include the new fees, or USCIS may reject your petition. Additionally, there is a new 04/01/24 edition of Form I-129, Petition for a Nonimmigrant Worker. USCIS will only accept the 04/01/24 edition of this form.

USCIS recently announced a final premium processing fee rule that increased the filing fee for Form I-907, Request for Premium Processing Service, to adjust for inflation, effective Feb. 26, 2024. If USCIS receives a Form I-907 postmarked on or after Feb. 26, 2024, with the incorrect filing fee, it will be rejected.
