In the past, I’ve held significant roles, including the position of Immigration Chair for the National South Asian Bar Association and the role of Immigration co-chair for the Federation of Indian Associations.

My commitment lies in aiding individuals who are grappling with intricate legal challenges or seeking immigration services. My ultimate aim is to provide comprehensive support to individuals, unraveling the complexities of the U.S. immigration system and guiding them toward achieving their desired visas.

Having more than 25 years of experience in the immigration domain since 1997, I’ve had the opportunity to observe the fluctuations in the U.S. immigration landscape. Through these years, I’ve nurtured an intricate comprehension of the U.S. immigration system, enabling me to adeptly address concerns related to work visas, family visas, and student visas for individuals in need.

I’m Nayan Joshi, currently serving as the President of the Atlanta ITServe Chapter and holding the esteemed position of President at Anid Infosoft LLC. With a substantial background in the SAP implementation & support services, my journey has been defined by leadership roles focused on fostering growth and innovation.

Stepping into the role of President for the Atlanta ITServe Chapter, I was excited to lead a dynamic and vibrant community comprising of 120 member companies.,. Our collective goal is to create a platform that nurtures growth and empowers local communities through a wide range of purposeful initiatives.

As the President, my vision centers around fostering meaningful engagement among our members through volunteer activities. This involves leveraging their skills, knowledge, and resources to collectively make a significant and lasting impact, and working towards the advancement of STEM objectives.

 

Our roadmap includes securing renewals from the previous year and expanding our chapter’s membership to 200+ member companies. We’re devoted to nurturing member growth through insightful workshops that cater to their specific needs. Our mission is to fuel community engagement, facilitate networking opportunities, and stimulate robust business development within the chapter. Empowering women leaders is a priority that’s close to our hearts.

One of our most important tasks is to debunk misconceptions about the H1B Program and collaborate with our PAC team to enlighten legislators. Our aim is to work alongside lawmakers to advocate for fair regulations and support non-immigrant workers facing challenges from the USCIS’s interpretations.

To drive collaboration, we have rolled out educational webinars and subject matter workshops. Our impactful monthly meetings, seminars, webinars and the GOVCON event successfully brought together professionals to foster better collaboration.

In the months ahead, we will focus on addressing the concerns of our esteemed members and creating an inclusive, impactful chapter. I am confident that through shared effort,  we can overcome hurdles, cultivate a sense of unity, and create meaningful change within our Atlanta Region chapter.
