USCIS Implements Filing Location Change for Certain Employment-Based Forms

Starting April 1, 2024, the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) will relocate the filing location for concurrently submitted Forms I-907, I-140, and I-485, along with related Forms I-131, I-765, and I-824, from USCIS service centers to a USCIS lockbox.

This transition is part of USCIS’s broader initiative to enhance efficiency and reduce agency costs associated with service center intake procedures. By centralizing the digitization of these forms for electronic adjudication, USCIS aims to optimize workload distribution based on resources and priorities.

Applicants are advised to utilize the specified addresses when mailing concurrently filed forms, ensuring compliance with the new filing process. USCIS may reject submissions received at service centers after May 2, 2024.

Detailed mailing instructions, including addresses for different work locations, have been provided to facilitate the transition and ensure smooth processing of applications across various regions.
