In its latest update, the Department of Labor (DOL) has provided insights into the processing times for PERM applications and Prevailing Wage Determinations (PWDs) as of February 29 and March 31, 2024, respectively. For PERM applications, DOL is currently reviewing filings from March 2023 or earlier, with priority given to audited cases dating back to December 2022 or earlier. Additionally, reconsideration requests filed up to May 2023 are under standard review. Regarding PWDs, DOL is issuing determinations for PERM prevailing wage requests filed in October 2023 (OES) and March 2023 (non-OES), as well as H-1B prevailing wage requests filed in November 2023 (OES) and June 2023 (non-OES). Redeterminations for both PERM and H-1B prevailing wages requested in November 2023 are also in progress, while PERM Center Director reviews from August 2023 remain pending.
