Additionally, despite significant layoffs under new ownership by Elon Musk, X (formerly Twitter) remains an H-1B sponsor with 72 approvals in 2023, emphasizing software development and machine learning positions. Similarly, Reddit, a prominent forum-based social network, sponsored 62 visas in 2023, particularly targeting roles in finance, accounting, and sales. Meanwhile, fintech disruptor Chime, recognized for its distinctive green and white branding, sponsored 65 visas in 2023, focusing on engineering, product management, and various analytical roles. These companies underscore the allure of US opportunities for global talent and the pivotal role of H-1B sponsorships in facilitating cross-border career mobility.
