Big Changes in Immigration Forms Filing: What You Need to Know!

USCIS Announces Filing Location Change for H-2A, H-2B, and CNMI-related Immigration Petitions and Applications

Starting November 1, 2023, the rules for submitting H-2A, H-2B, and CNMI-related immigration forms (I-129 petitions, I-129CW petitions, and I-539 applications) are getting a major update from the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). Now, all these forms must be sent directly to the Texas Service Center.

But don’t worry if you’re used to the old way! USCIS is giving everyone a 60-day grace period until December 31, 2023. During this time, if you accidentally send your forms to the California Service Center (CSC) or Vermont Service Center (VSC), they will be accepted. After this grace period, from January 1, 2024, onwards, any forms sent to the CSC or VSC will be rejected.

Here’s a quick breakdown of where to send your forms:

I-129 H-2A: USCIS Texas Service Center, 6046 N Belt Line Rd. STE 117, Irving, TX 75038-0018 (for USPS) or 6046 N Belt Line Rd. STE 117, Irving, TX 75038-0001 (for FedEx, UPS, DHL deliveries).
